Create a panorama picture of a very busy square of street with nobody on it. Use multiple photos to get a picture with nobody in it. Maybe leave some evidence of people there (like a bag) to give it a strange feeling.

Why not make a picture on the edge of the sidewalk or in the gutter itself. Not one but on every day of the year, for the next 1, 2, 3, 5, or ten years?! Or in every street you walk through, in every town. Keeping the lens, placement and composition the same. I really would like to see what happens. I will get a small series up on this site to see if it works. Normally the main subject of a picture is in someway emphasized by depth-of-field, light, forground-background differences, etc. Composition is another one. I would like to use a graphical “X” in the composition to pinpoint the small subject of the photograph. So for example a tree in the forground an a road in the background. At the point they intersect there should be the subject of the picture. This could take all different kind of forms. I’m always trying to think of new ideas for photos. It maybe for one photo or for a project which might last a long time to complete. Why not share you ideas with others? Everybody will have a different explanation or implementation. Maybe you have an idea but don’t have a clue how to put it “on film”. Or you need a new idea but just don’t seem to come up with one. On this site you’ll find ideas and inspirational links to help you and me!
